Online Access

As part of imposed contract changes on GP’s we have been asked to automatically provide our patients with access to their full medical record via the NHS app (and NHS website) if you have a suitable NHS login, from 31 October 2023. This will only apply to future (prospective) record entries and not historic data.

Jessop Medical Practice have taken active steps to safeguard your data and will only switch on access to records for those who ask us to, or for those who already have records access.

We are aware that not everyone will want access to their full record on the internet at this time, and some patients may have concerns about their personal medical records being made available on their smartphones or online, especially if other people have access to their devices.

If you would like to have access to your medical records from 31st October 2023 please inform us via reception and we will add you to a waiting list. We will then review your record and send you a SMS once access has been granted.

For more information about your online record visits the NHS digital website.
