It can be difficult as a young person dealing with mental health issues. It can feel very lonely. Parents or other family and friends may not know where to turn but there is plenty of help around.

Action for Children are a national children’s charity committed to helping children and young people in the UK. They work with Derbyshire Federation for Mental Health to provide a service called ‘Build Sound Minds Derby and Derbyshire’. They also provide a service called ‘Space 4 U‘ supporting children who are seriously affected by someone else’s substance misuse. |

Space 4 U welcomes referrals from anyone, for children aged 5 to 18 from all parts of Derbyshire who are affected by someone else’s substance misuse. |
